2012 Wild Carp Classic
Register for Wild Carp Week Tournaments
Welcome to the Wild Carp Classic, taking place May 20-22, 2012 along the Seneca River in Baldwinsville, NY, USA.
The Wild Carp Classic awards cash, tackle and voucher prizes to the
teams finishing with the most overall weight of carp caught during
the 50-hour competition. This event will challenge even the most
seasoned carp angling professionals.
The field is limited to the first 45 two-person teams to register
with full or partial payment before the April 30, 2012.

Basic Rules
-
2 rods per angler, 1 hook per rod
-
2 anglers per team
-
Each team is allowed one runner; runners may not cast or play fish
-
Proper fish care is required of all participants; do not throw fish or handle carp by gills
-
Use landing mats and avoid ground contact when transporting carp in nets
-
Common courtesy is to be extended to neighboring competitors
-
Do your best to keep your catch in your swim, but ask neighbors to clear lines if your fish runs into their swim
-
Be respectful of event property; fires are not permitted and leave your peg location as clean as it was when you arrived

Must have valid NY State fishing license
-
Fishing pegged areas is prohibited for one week preceding the event. Any registered anglers found fishing pegged areas prior to the Wild Carp Classic will be disqualified from the event and any registration payments made will be forfeited.

Cash prizes are determined as a percentage of registration fees received. Registration will be split 70% prizes and 30% event expenses.
